A protruding abdomen may result from subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, muscle separation, posture, skin laxity or hernia. Liposuction only removes selected subcutaneous fat.

A visible concern does not always have a single cause. The first consultation should identify the underlying anatomy, tissue characteristics, previous treatment and the outcome the patient actually expects.

Suitable candidates have localised fat, relatively stable weight, good general health and realistic expectations about skin and muscle definition. Smoking and thrombosis risk require careful review.

Pemulihan dan perjalanan antarabangsa
This is not a brief tourist add-on. Compression garments, mobility, wound care, hydration, thrombosis prevention and early review are central. Long-haul flying should occur only when the surgeon considers it safe.

Liposuction reduces subcutaneous fat but not visceral fat. It cannot guarantee visible abdominal muscles or perfectly smooth skin. Skin may remain loose, and aggressive sculpting can create irregularities.
