Botox for Men in Korea
Botulinum toxin can reduce selected muscle activity. Treatment for men should account for stronger muscles, eyebrow position, facial expression and the risk of an over-treated or feminised appearance.
Assessment first. Realistic expectations. No pressure to proceed.
What concern does this address?
The same line or wide jaw may come from muscle, skin, bone or fat. A toxin injection should be based on movement assessment rather than a fixed package of injection points.
Several conditions can look similar
A visible concern does not always have a single cause. The first consultation should identify the underlying anatomy, tissue characteristics, previous treatment and the outcome the patient actually expects.
- Frown lines and angry appearance
- Horizontal forehead lines
- Crow’s feet
- Masseter prominence or clenching
- Chin dimpling
- Excessive sweating
- Previous toxin with asymmetry or heavy brow
Treatment options that may be discussed
- Upper-face treatmentTargets selected forehead, glabellar or eye-area muscles.
- Masseter treatmentReduces muscle bulk over time and may help selected clenching symptoms.
- Chin or lower-face treatmentRequires precise dosing to avoid smile or speech effects.
- Hyperhidrosis treatmentUses multiple injections to reduce sweating in selected areas.
Who may be a suitable candidate?
Candidates should understand that effect is temporary and dose is individual. Neuromuscular conditions, infection, relevant medication and previous adverse reactions require medical review.
Expected change and important limitations
The goal is controlled weakening, not complete immobility. Jaw width caused by bone or fat will not be corrected by masseter toxin. Forehead treatment can lower the brow if muscle balance is not considered.
Recovery and international travel
Most patients resume normal travel quickly, but they should receive instructions on exercise, pressure, follow-up and what symptoms require medical attention. Full effect is not immediate and may be assessed after returning home.
Usually same-day or short-stay treatment.
Variable — the treating doctor determines your schedule.
