Most patients resume normal travel quickly, but they should receive instructions on exercise, pressure, follow-up and what symptoms require medical attention. Full effect is not immediate and may be assessed after returning home.

The goal is controlled weakening, not complete immobility. Jaw width caused by bone or fat will not be corrected by masseter toxin. Forehead treatment can lower the brow if muscle balance is not considered.
