Polylactic acid filler

A biostimulatory filler intended to act gradually.

01 What it is

Injection of poly-L-lactic acid, a biostimulatory material intended to stimulate the body’s own collagen over time rather than adding fixed volume.

02 What it aims to change

Girth, developing gradually over weeks. It does not lengthen the penis or change erectile function.

03 How it is performed

Reconstituted material is injected into the layer beneath the skin, sometimes across several sessions. The final effect depends on individual tissue response.

04 What published studies report

Evidence in this region is limited and comes mainly from smaller studies and case series. Some report gradual girth increase; robust comparative data are lacking.

05 What remains uncertain

The magnitude and durability of the collagen response vary between individuals, and long-term data are insufficient.
