Safety & aftercare
Safety and aftercare
Recovery after a penile procedure is usually straightforward, but a small number of problems need prompt in-person care. This page separates ordinary recovery from the warning signs that should not wait — and explains how follow-up works after you return home.
A typical aftercare timeline
- Day 0–2
Swelling, tenderness, bruising and temporary asymmetry are common. Rest and follow the clinic’s instructions.
- First week
Avoid pressure, friction, cycling and strenuous exercise. Keep the area clean as directed.
- Around 4 weeks
Sexual activity is typically deferred for a clinician-defined interval — about a month in several published Korean protocols.
- 1–6 months
Reviews at 1–2 weeks and about 4 weeks, then an outcome assessment at 3–6 months. Correction or adjustment is considered only if needed.
General guidance only. Your treating clinician sets the actual timeline for your procedure and material.
What is usually part of normal recovery
- Swelling and bruising in the first days
- Tenderness and a feeling of firmness
- Temporary, mild asymmetry that settles
- Gradual return to daily activity within a short period
After you return home
- Ask for an English treatment record with the exact product name, lot number, volume, and tissue layer.
- Know who to contact and how quickly you can be seen if a problem appears.
- Keep a plan for remote follow-up and for managing possible complications.
Sharing clinical photographs safely
Do not send explicit photographs through the first-contact form or ordinary messaging. If clinical images are needed, a licensed medical provider will arrange an appropriate secure channel, with your consent, after an initial review. Images are never requested casually.
