Understand penile enhancement
Before comparing procedures, it helps to separate a few ideas that are often blurred in marketing. Each pairing below changes what a procedure can realistically do.
- 01 Girth Length
Most injectable and grafting procedures address girth (circumference), not length. Length procedures are different, more invasive, and have their own limits.
- 02 Flaccid length Erect length
Ligament release may change visible flaccid length without increasing erect length. These are not the same measurement.
- 03 Cosmetic enhancement Reconstructive surgery
Elective cosmetic change is judged differently from reconstruction after disease, injury or a prior complication.
- 04 Enlargement Erectile function
Enhancement procedures aim at size or shape. They are not treatments for erectile difficulty, which is a separate medical issue.
- 05 Appearance Sensation
A change in appearance is not the same as preserved sensation. Both should be part of how an outcome is judged.
- 06 Temporary effect Permanent effect
Some materials reabsorb over time; others are long-lasting or hard to reverse. Reversibility changes the risk calculation.
- 07 Regulatory approval Proven use in this area
A material approved for one use is not automatically proven safe or effective for penile enhancement. Ask specifically about this area.
